The inner circle of the coin depicts a double cross on three hills (as featured in the national emblem of Slovakia), on a background of stylized rocks.

The year mark and the name of the country ‘SLOVENSKO’ are engraved along the edge of the inner circle, respectively on the left and right hand sides.

The mintmark and the initials I? of the artist Ivan ?ehák appear on both sides at the bottom of the double cross.

The outer ring of the coin shows the twelve stars of the European flag.
